Photography in southern Iceland, from lava-fields to glaciers

In early May I decided to head off for a self-drive photography trip in Iceland. It’s taken me a while to get around to writing this, since I’ve also been in about four other countries since. And no, not for photography unfortunately! That also means it’s taken up until about now to sort through the Iceland shots, and make selects and edits. But I’m pleased to say that the shots are now about ready for upload – I thought the day may never come.

A HDR photography overview

High Dynamic Range (HDR) photography is the process of capturing multiple different exposures of the same scene, which are later combined, or blended together in post-production, with the aim of producing an image that has good or perfect exposure throughout.
